This iconic Christchurch venue is a popular spot for a wide range of venues. But, as the name suggests, it's primarily a raceway so regularly hosts race meetings including Cup Day - the nation's richest and most prestigious harness racing events.
With over 20,000 pouring through the gates each November, we had to be sure the flooring chosen for the kitchen, toilets and main areas achieved the all-important combination of good looks, durability and easy care.
We recently had the pleasure of working with Floorpride to address a long-standing frustration we have had about carpeting a large staircase in our Victorian era heritage-listed home 'Woodford', in Christchurch. Mr Joshua Rogers and his contractor, Dave, visited the site and not only were willing to accept the challenges of laying a bordered-pattern Victorian runner-style carpet on the stairs but also offered, and duly executed, a superb and creative laying solution to ensure the result was faithful to the period and laid to the finest standards. The result exceeded our expectations and we would have no hesitation to recommend the Floorpride team to anyone with a heritage carpet requirement or who are seeking to address technical carpet laying needs to exacting standards.
